Sterling silver jewelry is popular because it offers an elegant shine at a more affordable price than gold or platinum. Made from 92.5% silver, it is durable enough for everyday wear, and is generally safe for sensitive skin.
Unlike plated jewelry, it is a real precious metal that can hold long-term value, and any tarnishing can be easily cleaned.
We also offer 14-18k gold adornments on our jewelry but do not currently make solid gold jewelry. These adornments are a great way to spice up your collection.

Stabilized turquoise is natural stone that has been treated to make it stronger and more durable. Because turquoise is naturally porous and can be soft, it’s often infused with a clear resin or polymer that hardens the stone. This process helps prevent cracking, chipping, and color changes, making the turquoise better suited for everyday jewelry.
Note: Stabilization does not eliminate the possibility of these effects; it only reduces their likelihood.
Importantly, stabilized turquoise is still real turquoise—it’s just been enhanced to improve its strength and longevity. Even high grade stones are sometimes stabilized or surface treated to preserve the stone and keep it around for years of continued wear!

General Tips: Store your jewelry in a dry, airtight container or pouch to slow tarnishing. Clean it with a soft polishing cloth (such as the Sunshine brand) and avoid harsh chemicals, perfumes, lotions, and cleaning products, which can speed up tarnish. Remove sterling silver before swimming, showering, or exercising.
Turquoise care: Turquoise is softer and porous, even when stabilized, so handle it gently. Keep it away from water, oils, perfumes, and cosmetics, as these can discolor the stone. Avoid ultrasonic cleaners or steam cleaning, and clean turquoise only with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth. With regular gentle care, sterling silver and turquoise jewelry can stay beautiful for many years.
Handmade sterling silver bolo tie with a figure 8 slide. This bolo tie features a fantastic Fox turquoise stone from Nevada. A hand stamped repousse design adorns the top of the bolo, flanked by two sterling silver beads. Each Rattlesnake bolo is mounted onto a (removeable) 42 inch genuine leather cord. Tips are sterling silver. This stone is very substantial, and will impress you most in person!
